Built by people who've lived the problem.
loom was designed by a team with over two decades in real estate development, private capital, and community building — shaped by real-world experience with the gaps in how wellness, daily structure, and local connection actually work in people's lives.
What We Bring
25+ years in real estate development and private capital
Community development and neighbourhood economics
Behavioural wellness research across 1.2M+ participants
A thesis built on published science, not trends
Designed around the hours between appointments — the 167 hours a week nobody else builds for
Research foundation from BMJ, Lancet Psychiatry, and JMIR
Vancouver-first — built by locals, for the city we live in
Pre-launch and building in public
How We Built It
Peer-reviewed research, not focus groups
20+ years working across housing, health, and community access — the issues that shape how people actually live
Every design decision tested against one question: would this make someone's week actually better
Non-punitive design — no streaks, no shame, no loss mechanics
Built for every generation — mid-20s through 70s
Informed by 1.2 million participants of published research
Designed around the hours between appointments — the 167 hours a week nobody else builds for
Where Bloom stands
Bloom is pre-launch. We are building in public, testing in Vancouver, and inviting early partners and community members to help shape what this becomes.
Does Bloom have a full team?
Bloom is built by a small, senior team that operates at the scale of a much larger organisation. Every discipline — research, design, content, strategy, and platform development — is covered.
What expertise is behind Bloom?
Over 25 years in real estate development, private capital, and community building. Behavioural wellness research drawn from peer-reviewed studies across 1.2 million participants.
Why start in Vancouver?
Because this is where the team lives. Vancouver already has trails, studios, community spaces, and local businesses. Bloom doesn't need to build a city. It needs to connect one.
Is Bloom funded?
Bloom is pre-seed and self-funded. We are building toward partnerships and community traction before raising external capital. That is deliberate.
When does Bloom launch?
Vancouver 2026. Join the waitlist to get early access and help shape what we build.
